Memorial services for Anna Bell Colbert, 79, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at Wise Funeral Home, Bonham, Texas. Bro. Dwayne Wheeler will officiate. Anna passed away Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
Anna was born Aug. 30, 1934 in Tira, Texas, the daughter of John Fred Collins and Ola Mae Jackson Collins. She was a graduate of West Delta High School. Anna married Rodger Colbert who preceded her in death July 6, 2001. She was a beautician for many years and owned her own shop for a time. She also owned and operated Anna's Crafts in Granbury, Texas. Anna loved to dance and enjoyed oil and acrylic painting. She was a Baptist and moved to Bonham in 2006. Anna was preceded in death by her parents and great grandson, Christian Grisham.
She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Glenn Wicks and wife, Kim of Bonham, Texas and Gary Don Wicks of Wills Point, Texas;
adopted sons, Tommy Wicks and wife, Kim of Wills Point, Texas and Santos Rodriguez and wife, Liz of Grand Saline, Texas;
step children, Mark Colbert, Greg Colbert, Stephen Colbert, Karen Colbert Jones and Amy Colbert James; sister, Sally Mills and husband, Bill of Bogato, Texas;
two grandchildren, Patrick Wicks and Amy Wicks Grisham; six great grandchildren, Ethan Wicks, Evelyn Wicks, Eddie Wicks, Matthew Grisham, Megan Grisham and Andrew Grisham; a number of step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; nephew and niece, Wes "Bubba" Mills and Kathy Wheeler.
