Angela Dawn Akard-Meeks was born October 29, 1976 in Denison, Texas, the daughter of Clayton Allen (Akard) Meeks, Sr. and Rosemary Ham Harrington. Angela passed away Tuesday night, Nov. 15, 2016 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
Angela was a homemaker and enjoyed her puppies, swimming, and watching TV. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her father, brother, Lynn Ray Meeks, and paternal grandparents, Charles and Jewell Meeks formerly of California.
Angela is survived by her Mother, Rosemary Harrington of Bonham, TX; Daughters, Latishia Lewis of Bonham, TX and Jamie Lewis of Sherman, TX; Brother, Clayton Allen Meeks, Jr. of Bonham, TX; Grandparents, Bobby & Rosa Ham of Tom Bean, TX; Aunts, Cathy Simmons of Tom Bean, TX, Janet Johnson of Sadler, TX, Margaret Michael of Sherman, Texas, Peggy Hill of Denison, TX; and Uncle, Bobby Wayne Ham of Tom Bean, TX.
Wise Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
