ALMA LOU HORNE
Graveside services for Alma Lou "Mamaw" Horne, 79, of Bonham, will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 15, 2011 in Arledge Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Stephen Murden will officiate. Alma Lou passed away Monday night, Sept. 12, 2011 at Baylor Heart Hospital in Plano.
Alma Lou was born April 9, 1932 in the Bartley Woods Community of Fannin County, Texas, the daughter of Grover Harles Winn and Eva Mae Turner Winn. She attended schools in Ladonia and Bonham. Alma Lou married Robert "Bob" Horne in 1979 and he preceded her in death in 1998. She was a nurses aide at Fairview Nursing Home, Seven Oaks Nursing Home and Northeast Medical Center in Bonham. She was of the Methodist faith and loved to listen to Joel Osteen. Alma Lou loved to crochet and enjoyed giving her beautiful crafts to family and friends. She was very patriotic and following the attacks of 9-11, she crocheted many red, white and blue memorial balls which she gave away to people in our area. Alma Lou was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Johnny Lloyd Echols, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by

"Cotton" Winn of Mulberry, TX, 2 Sisters, Eva Mae Lindsey and Peggy Cornelson, both of Bonham, TX,
Grandchildren, Christi Michelle Tynan, Rebecca Lynn Martin, Rusty, Jason and Chad Echols, and Carrie and Justin Lawson
