Allen Sim Jr. passed away at Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center in Bonham, TX on July 31, 2026. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. 

Allen was born on June 6, 1965 in Center, TX to parents, Allen Sr. and Beatrice Sims. Service was at the heart of Allen proudly serving his country in the United States Army and the United States Navy. He will be fondly remembered for his love of country, fishing, and blues music. Allen was easy going, a hard worker and had a funny sense of humor. He was a proud High School graduate of Carthage High and attended MT. View College. He will be laid to rest at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery on Monday, August 24, 2026 at 10:15am with Navy Honors. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Allen Sims Sr. He leaves behind mother, Beatrice Sims, brothers, Don Sims and wife Pat, Robert Horton, sister, Tina Lampkin and husband Billy, along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

To know Allen was to love him and he will be deeply missed.
