Alice Elizabeth Robertson

Funeral Services for Alice Elizabeth Robertson, age 85, of Dodd City, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham, Texas. Steve Watson will officiate. Alice passed away early Wednesday morning, November 9, 2022, at Wilson N Jones Medical Center in Sherman, Texas.

Alice was born on September 22, 1937, the daughter of Elzie Ray Monk and Thelma Daisy Mitchell Monk. She earned her GED and worked as a dietician for many years at Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center and Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Center. She was married to James William Robertson for 26 years prior to his passing. Alice enjoyed cooking, deserts being her favorite to make. She liked to garden and treasured all kinds of flowers. Alice also enjoyed fishing. She loved singing gospel music and attended the Dodd City Church of Christ in Dodd City, Texas. Alice dearly loved her children and all her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. Alice is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James William Robertson; brothers, William David Monk and Bobbie Ray Monk; sisters, Verbal Deurell Watson and Edith Anzelle Fields; granddaughter, Ashley Stephens; and great granddaughter, Candun Stephens.

Alice is survived by sons, Michael Stephens and wife Kelli of Sawyer, Oklahoma, Randy Brazier and wife Heidi of Ivanhoe, Texas, William Robertson and wife Crystal of Bonham, Texas, and Richard Robertson and wife Amanda of Dodd City, Texas; daughter, MiTherese Foreman of Bonham, Texas; sister, Tena Alford and husband Buddy of Fruitvale, Texas; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home on Monday, November 14, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
