James Aaron Piott was born September 13, 1977 in Dallas, Texas as a tiny premature baby and grew into a handsome, wonderful, intelligent young man.
He was the devoted son of Jim and Carolene Piott who loved him unconditionally. Aaron was affectionately known as "Donut".
He was a graduate of Whitewright High School. Aaron was a man who loved his work at Hitachi. He began work immediately after college as a service technician on electron microscopes. Aaron remained with the company until his untimely death at the age of 37 years and 2 months.
Aaron was a person who delighted in helping his family, friends and anyone else who needed assistance.
He loved off-roading and the muddier the better.
Aaron is survived by his parents, James Harold "Jim" Piott, Jr. and Carolene Crouch Piott; brother, Blake Piott and his wife, Tasha; paternal grandmother, Addran Piott; niece, Shasta Welch and nephew, Shawn Welch of Graford, TX; great aunt, Ann Hazelip; aunt and uncle, Pam (Piott) Thompson and Steve; and longtime friends, David and Shannon Rule and Jeremy Vinsonhaler.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014 at Edhube Baptist Church where he was a member. Aaron's great great grandfather, Rev. C. C. Hazelip helped to found the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Rev. Kathy Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in Randolph-Lindsey Cemetery. Aaron passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2014 in Lubbock, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Jim Piott, Blake Piott, Justin McBrayer, David Rule, Rickey Hazelip and Jeremy Vinsonhaler.
